The leak detection team behind Same Day.

Same Day Leak Detection is the one-job-a-day service from ADI Leak Detection. The same vans, the same twenty-five engineers and the same accreditations. What differs is how the day is booked, and what that means for the length of your job.

Ten years of turning up.

ADI Leak Detection has located hidden water leaks across England, Scotland and Wales for over a decade. Its engineers are plumbing and heating engineers as well as leak specialists, so a leak found can usually be repaired without booking another trade.

The company holds accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme, WaterSafe and the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association, and carries £5 million public liability insurance. Its Trustpilot profile runs to more than sixteen hundred reviews.

What this brand names is the booking policy. One property per engineer per day, so a job needing six hours is given six hours rather than carried over to a second appointment. Across every job ADI has attended, the leak is located on the day of the visit in about ninety-nine of a hundred.

It is not a promise to attend on the day you call. Engineer days are booked in advance. Where one is unbooked, or an earlier job finishes early, same-day attendance is possible, so it is worth asking.

  • Excellent Leak Detection and Repair

We had a major water leak of approximately 220 litres per hour and, with a holiday booked only a few days later, we urgently needed someone to find and repair it. […] Frank arrived at our house. He was extremely polite, professional and clearly very experienced. He quickly set up the equipment, carried out a tracer gas test and pinpointed the leak to an area just outside our garage underneath the driveway. […] The whole job, from arriving at our house to finding and repairing a 220 litre-per-hour leak, was completed in around three hours.

  • Hamaad from ADI was great

Hamaad from ADI was great. He was very thorough with his work and communicated everything very clearly. He was able to locate the leak and provided a detailed report that could be shared with my insurer. He went above and beyond to answer questions about my insurance claim from both me and my insurer. I'd highly recommend their services.

  • Hamaad a fantastic engineer

Hamaad was such a great engineer. he was the 3rd contractor to attend and attempt to locate the leak in my property. 3rd time was the charm. Hammad found the source after conducting a series of checks. after finding the source he then conducted further tests to make sure it wasn’t a combination of issues. Really nice guy, very friendly and communicates his findings accurately. definitely seems to put the customer first which I really appreciated.

  • Excellent service and knowledgeable engineers

Mark & Craig attended our property and used multiple techniques to find an invisible leak under our house. They were polite, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and kept me updated as the detection progressed. They were able to fix the leak and reinstate the kitchen floor with minimum disruption. Highly recommended company.

  • Profecional from the start very polite…

Profecional from the start very polite and helpful on the phone. Plumber name of Brett Steel investigated the leak fully. Found it was not on our property, but still continued investigating, A few days later we got the report, with pictures of meter readings etc. conclusivly proving the leak was the responsibility of the water company. We have had a full rebate of the cost involved. Thank you.

  • Excellent service.

Hamaad was very prompt, friendly and professional. He attended my property to track and trace a leak coming from an upstairs neighbour’s flat.

He was very courteous and knowledgeable, gaining the complete confidence of my neighbour and tracked the leak quickly, giving a clear explanation of the necessary repair.

His input was invaluable, in what could otherwise have been quite a difficult conversation.

  • Great Service Provided by Grant

We are very happy with the service Grant & ADI provided.

Grant was very quick at tracing and repairing the leak. He even went the extra mile to ensure or tenanted property was left safe and secure once the leak had been repaired.

  • I had an excellent experience with Robert from ADI Leak Detection

Robert Gires attended our property and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and meticulous throughout the whole process. He carefully removed part of the kitchen cabinet to gain access, dug into the floor to properly investigate and assess the leak, and explained what he was doing along the way. What impressed me most was the care he took with our property. Once the investigation was completed, Robert put everything back in place neatly and left the area tidy.

  • Craig was punctual and efficient

Craig was punctual, knowledgeable, efficient and very tidy. This is a large property and he traced leaks and sources of damp in walls and in heating pipes under concrete floors.

Their engineer Gabor was very meticulous, knowledgeable and professional.would highly recommend.

Thank you Rob & Gabor for your excellent service

  • Great Service from start to finish!

ADI’s response was positive and fast, from the person I spoke with, Lauren, who listened, understood and delivered. Through to Kristof who was with us within 2 hours, sourced the underground leak, replaced the pipe, cleaned the system through and made sure every tap, shower and toilet in our house was working as it should!

Overall a great service that we would recommend to everyone.

    Thank you, ADI, Phil Patterson.

  • Fast, effective leak diagnosis and repair

Fundamentally, the engineer (Mark Pavitt) identified the source of the leak, repaired it and had our house back up and running within the same day. As part of achieving this, he kept the damage to a minimum (only having to cut out sections of the kitchen plasterboard ceiling). He cleaned up the debris, was polite, cheerful and informative of root cause and actions throughout the day. I think the key to success is having an engineer that has expertise in both leak detection and plumbing.

  • Very professional and swift service

Very professional and swift service. Frank arrived and had detected and repaired the leak within 3 hours. Would highly recommend

  • Underfloor leak mystery solved

We had what appeared to be an underfloor heating system leak. Frank arrived and within an hour had pinpointed that the water was in fact coming from a leaking toilet pipe and then travelling under the floor. He very efficiently repaired the problem and cleaned everything up. Very pleased with his work!

  • Very pleased with service

Our boiler pressure was dropping to zero & we knew we had a leak. Frank came out and used tracer gas to identify the location of the leak. He dug up the floor & replaced the leaking part of the pipe in the same day. Very happy.
